| CRRC(MSN) is the abbreviation of the Chat Room Remote Controller Module (MSN edition), with the handy tool, the chat room moderator(s) can monitor the chat room externally on MSN Messenger. In that way they can keep an eye on the chat room anywhere, whether in the office or at home, in the restaurant or in the gym. Specifically speaking, the chat room owner may bind a chat robot in a particular chat room as the ear and the mouth, and then grant the access of the robot to the reliable person(s) so that they're entitled to remotely monitor the room via MSN Messenger. Benefits and Features Firstly the management of the chat room becomes easier and more spontaneous. The loose connection between the chat room and the moderator now turns to be much more tighter thanks to the CRRC because they can monitor all the conversation in the chat room, kick the annoyance out or talk directly in the chat lobby, etc. even though they haven't logged into the chat room SWF at all! All they need is just be online on MSN Messenger. Secondly, not only the room owner himself/herself, his/her friends can join the moderator team and take care of the chat room together. Thirdly, the chat room can be active around the clock as long as the moderators are online on MSN, therefore the CCRC is very helpful in chat rooms of all kinds, either in social network or for online sales or customer service. How many orders will go to the competition if your sales representatives are always available? None! Step by Step Tutorial There are four steps to configure the CCRC. Before we proceed, please be aware that two kinds of MSN accounts will be involved, the first kind is the Robot MSN account, which is like a bridge between the chat room and the moderators, the second kind is the moderator MSN, and the Robot MSN account is supposed to be added into the moderator MSN contact list. 1. Create Robot MSN Account Room owner sign up a new Windows Live ID/ Windows Live Messenger Account for the Robot. For example: bot@hotmail.com Note: Do not login MSN Messenger using Robot MSN account thereafter! If it logged on MSN messenger, it can't be your eyes and ears in chat room any more, because one MSN account can't logged on MSN messenger twice! 2. Bot MSN binding, launch the function Room owner enter the Robot MSN account bot@hotmail.com and its password into the Admin Panel-> CCRC-> Bot MSN account to accomplish the binding. 3. Moderator MSN binding Now it's time to bind moderator MSN to Bot MSN for a particular chat room to grant the power to the reliable person(s). Admin Panel-> Room Panel-> choose a room -> CCRC, add your friends' MSN accounts here to be the room moderators, for example: friend@hotmail.com, so that it binds to bot@hotmail.com 4. Monitor room on MSN Moderators add the Bot MSN bot@hotmail.com to their MSN contact list and then monitor and control the room externally. Tips The following commands are available on MSN to control the chat room externally. /help view help document /enable enable the function to monitor the messages of the room on MSN /disable disable to monitor the room messages /list check online user list in the room /kick kick particular user out of the room, eg: /kick username /ban ban user ID or IP from the room, eg: /ban username or /ban 61.239.186.94 /unban unban user ID or IP, eg: /unban username or/unban 61.239.186.94 Disclaimer For CRRC, TOPCMM makes no MSN-related warranty, in other words, if Microsoft changed commucation protocol of the MSN Messenger and thereafter CRRC can't work any more, TOPCMM will try to fix it but there will be no refund guarantee.
