123 Flash Chat Server Software V4.6 Changes

Prevent Spam

To prevent spam, admin can now constrain the connections from each IP. By default it is "10". If it is configure to "0", then one IP can login unlimited connections( of course this is limited by the license you've purchased), this can be used for performance test.

Enhance Performance

Both chat server and client performance are enhanced.

Fix Bugs

Fix the bug in integrating mysql 4.1 database.

Fix the bug in recording history log.

Fix the bug in the process of changing nickname.

Update docs

Language config files updated.
User manual documentation is amended.

Q: Do I need to upgrade?

A: If you are happy with your current version of 123 flash chat server software and you are not interested in the new changes of v4.6 in above list, you don't necessarily have to upgrade to v4.6.

But if you do need the new features, please email to support@123flashchat.com or submit ticket to request upgrade.
We recommend you to upgrade to the new version!
