API command not supporting character '&'

Q:This error log is generated when trying to add a room name with a
special character like '&' is applied to the room name. We can use
characters like '#' and '_' or '!' but NOT '&'.

Room Name = '*Admissions and Financial Aid*' to be changed to Room Name
= '*Admissions & Financial Aid*' not allowed able to save using the
api_command.

API_COMMAND used:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><Command group="devchat"
api_pwd="3874-3459-9293-2194" type="edit_room" name="*Admissions &
Financial Aid*" roomid="1286" owner="admin" desc="Lets talk about
admission" max="4" speaker="" member="false" pwd=""

A:Your problem was caused by XML special significance word "&",
please replace "&" to "&amp;" , or use scripte function to translate it.
for example:
htmlspecialchars() php
