Default Help me to integration drupal

Q: I have a 123flashchat server in my host, please help me to integration drupal.


A: Step 1, Download the integration module from here:

123 Flash Chat module/Chat Add-on for popular CMS or Forum system


Step 2, Install module files to your drupal:


File Copy

copy folder chat/ to <drupal installed directory>/modules/chat/



Step 3, Install the module in the admin panel

1. OPEN: Admin Panel -> Site Building -> Modules -> select 123flashchat -> save configuration;
The chat module will be installed automatically.

2. OPEN: Admin Panel ->Site Building->Blocks->(Disabled)select 123flashchat->(Region)select Left sidebar->Save blocks
The chat module will be displayed in the left sidebar.

Step 4, Configure chat module's running mode:

1). 1.OPEN: Admin Panel -> Site configurations -> Chat module settings

2.Please choose the running mode according to your needs.

Configure the following parameters:
Chat server is hosted by: 1. Chat server is hosted by your own.


2). Configure the following parameters:

Chat Group Name
Chat Width
Chat Height
Chat Data Path
Primary Host
Primary Port
Chat Location
Client SWF Name (modification is not recommended)

Configuration reference:
Chat Group Name = "default";
Chat Width = 634; (or 100% )
Chat Height = 476; (or 100% )
Chat Data Path = "<123flashchat install directory>/server/data/default/";
Primary Host = "localhost";
Primary Port = 51127;
Chat Location = "http://www.123flashchat.com/";
Client SWF Name = "123flashchat.swf";




Step 5, Integrate your chat with drupal user database

If you choose running mode 1 or mode 2, integration is needed, you may achieve this by following the instructions below.

1. Log in the Admin Panel of your 123FlashChat server
OPEN: System Settings -> Integrate Panel

2. Find: DataBase -> SELECT: URL -> edit

3. Change URL:
http://<drupal install directory>/?q=chat/loginchat&username=%username%&password=%password%

4. Press OK to save your setting.
