Deactivate Gender Icon?

Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to de-activate the gender icon in the user list, and if so, how to do it?

There're three gender icons. Male, Female and Unknown. As they're fixed in the source code, they're not changeable for you, I'm afraid.

However, if you do not mind, we can replace them, if you have new design already, on somewhat additional cost.
