Default Possible Client........

I "tried" to speak with your live support not to long ago to get some answers but things were not made clear at all.

If I were to buy a license for a 50 user chat, can I host the chat on my server? I was told "no" when I asked in live support.

My real curiousity lies with the license. What is the purpose of the license? Every application that I have downloaded online that comes with a license allows me access to the core files. As a coder, I use my abilities to modify applications to meet my needs. When I brought this up in the live support, I was informed I wouldn't have access to the files to make modifications. So what is the license for then? Basically, I pay for a license but don't get the scripts to modify?

If I wanted to modify the "look" of my chat, how would I go about doing so without access to the files?

Is there a censor attached to this chat? I would like the ability to block certain words and certain URL's from being displayed in the chatroom. Is this possible?

You can surely host the chat by yourself, as long as you have control over your server,
that means you gotta have telnet or ssh authority to install java application on your server.

The license restricts the concurrent users, for example, a 50 users license will allow 50 users login your chat simultaneously.
if you need to modify the chat, you may purchase the golden package which contains the flash client source code and the protocol between the server and the client explains how they two communicates with each other.

actually you don't necessarily need fla files to design a skin,
here're some tutorials might be helpful to your designer:

HowTo customize skin?

HowTo change skin color?
http://www.123flashchat.com/colormap.html

HowTo customize background ?

Here are some samples of the custom skins:

Only when you need to chang the location of buttons and other elements,
or need to modify avatars or smileys, you need client source code.

yes, it's called "filter words" in 123flashchat, which can be defined in default.xml.

Let me know if I can help you further.
