Default Hosting multiple chat servers

Hi,

We are currently looking for a chat server to provide our customers with chat functionality with their websites. We have several servers with multiple customers websites on it and i would like to know if it's possible to have multiple chat servers installed on a single server.

Why multiple chat servers, well our customers need to have the following functions available :

- Maintain their own filter lists
- Create rooms, add modurators to that room
- All customers should only see their own rooms or be able to adjust them

So far the filter list seem to be a global one and i see no option to do that per customer with 1 chat server.

I did read something about the availability of an Api, so i assume we can make our own program wich could allow customers to maintain a few things where you normally would need server access.

So here's why i am interested in knowing if we can have multiple chat servers on a single server and if so, how?

Or is there an solution to use 1 chat server and still customize it for every customer we would like to let it use?

Also wich license would we require for this solution?

hopefully someone could provide us with an answer

thank you in advance

Greetings,

Default Re:Hosting multiple chat servers

Thank you very much for your inquiry!

I think what you need is our group version of the chat.

With just one license, the owner can configure to host multiple chat groups, each group is similar with one standard version 123flashchat server license.
People in group one won't be able to see people in group two, and the owner can control the max number of users in each group.

After purchasing unlimited version, you will be auto-granted the group version (which will be a bit more expensive than the unlimited one ) with a detailed configuration instruction.

Please let us know whether it is what you are looking for.

A) Can we assign admins per group wich can adjust filter lists, add
users/moderators, add new rooms etc? Is there a document wich explains
what every admin for a certain group can do?

Each group can have its own rooms, users, moderators, admins and filter list.
These groups are different chat which are seperated from each other.

Please go to the link below to take a look at the admin features.

B) What would be the price of this version for unlimited users?

For unlimited user license buyers, there are two options, standard and golden.
The golden package includes the user license and the client source code ( the fla files ) with which you may change the layout of the chat very easily.

And the price for the standard package is $1599 and for the golden package it is $1669. Both of them are onetime pay.The unlimited user license buyers can have a lifetime free upgrade and tech support service.

C) Are there any special requirements for becoming a reseller by buying
the unlimited version and use the 30% discount for it?

You are legitimate to become reseller only after you purchase any one license with full price.
Please go to the link below to learn more about the resell programe.

we'll send you a word document to explain details of the group version.
Thank you!
