Default IPB integration problem

Hello, today I've just purchased a copy of flashchat (v453), I've read a old post (not in this forum) with the possibility to integrate Flashchat and Invision 1.1 but with my copy seems to be different to that one the article referers to.
I disperately need to integrate Flashchat on my site with IPB 1.1.2.
The problem is that I can't upgrade my Invision cause there are already too much integrations with the rest of the site... Will be perfect to integrate at least the databases...
Is there anyone can give me some support? PLEASE!

Hi

Thanks for inquiry.
You can download the chat integrate file at :
http://www.123flashchat.com/download/login.zip
And upzip it copy them to a folder in your web server, and open the login_chat.php ,config the database settings.
Then please open the default.xml in server/etc/groups/ find :
<integrated-other-database>None</integrated-other-database>
Change it to :
<integrated-other-database>URL</integrated-other-database>
And Find :
<auth-url charset="UTF-8"></auth-url>
Change it to
<auth-url charset="UTF-8">http://yourhost_name/folder_name/log...rd%</auth-url>
If you have further question, please feel free to let us know.

Best wishes

So, if I've understood well:

1) I install my copy of flashchat in a dir under the forum

2) Then upzip the file you linked me copy all to a folder (the same folder of flash chat??) in my web server, open the login_chat.php and config the database settings.

3) I can't find server\etc\groups\default.xml on my server, is it under flashchat installation dir??

For info I run flashchat 453 and my site is on windows server...

Thank you for your help and patiente, can you tell me again how to proceed regarding my questions?

Hi

Thanks for inquiry.
1) You should install it ouside of the www folder. It's more safe.
And you just need to copy the folder named "client" to the forum folder.
2)The are instruction file in the package.
3)Yes, it's in the chat server installed folder.
If you have further question, please feel free to let us know.
