Default How do I integrate my vbulletin, flashchat, and fcs from different servers?

I have my vbulletin on freebsd.

I am using my own FCS server.

I need to know how to configure this bit of code for my new server, I cannot continue to use 123flashchat for my host since you refuse to upload my modified 123flashchat and you insist on spamming my users.

I am going t get another host, using linux, with ftp and root access, and i need to know how to integrate this part:

#-----[ OPEN ]------------------------------------------
#
sources/config_chat.php

#
#-----[ FIND ]------------------------------------------
#
$chat_data_path = "";

#
#-----[ REPLACE WITH ]----------------------------------
#
# if your host is in host15,and your host name is abc.
#the $chat_data_path should be "http://host15.123flashchat.com/abc".
# Do NOT addslash please.
#
$chat_data_path = "http://host.123flashchat.com/yourhostname";

Since your chat host is located at,

http://host15.123flashchat.com/beerandshots/

so please open config_chat.php and modify

$chat_data_path = "http://host15.123flashchat.com/beerandshots";

No, cloudy. I want to know how to configure it on another server. I have been asking you for over a week to upload my modified 123flashchat.swf and it is still not uploaded. Since you do not allow ftp access for me to manage my own files, I need to find another host.

So, assuming I am on a regular server that will have a normal file path, how do I configure it?

Dear Wolfy,
sorry for all the confusion.
I believe Cloudy has made clear to you, the 123flashchat skin is not controlled by the 123flashchat.swf, but by over 50 SWFs in the skin folder.
Here's a tutorial to help your understanding:

what about default.xml? I don't have access to that either. At the moment my users are being spammed with 123flashchat announcements even after I have paid almost $1000 for the source and license!

I would still like to know how to configure this on a different host, you are trying to give me no option but to host with you. I'm not too keen on sending you files to upload everytime I make a change to my chat.

I will send you back the modified files, and it will be another 12 hours or so before I hear from you, when if I had ftp access I would not need to rely on you. For that reason I would like to know how to configure 123flashchat to run on another server, like I asked in the first post.

Thanks for your help.

Dear Wolfy,

1) as to the changes on client end, you're recommended to install one copy of 123flashchat locally and test skin and other client stuff until you feel satisfied, then send us the client end so that we can upload, which saves your time.
moreover, if you and our engineer Cloudy could arrange some time to meet online on MSN, to communicate directly, that'll be much more effective.
Cloudy will be online from Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00-18:00, GMT+8.
MSN contact: cloudy@123flashchat.com

2) as to the 123flashchat announcement, I guess you're talking about the text advertisements?
you can remove them this way:
open default.xml,
find: <robot-message enable="On" activerooms="*" interval="300">
and change the following messages in that section to be your own ads.

I would still like to know how to configure this to run on a different host. I cannot set it up on my server, I am running freebsd and I do not know how to set it up on my server to test it.

Please tell me how to configure it on another host, give me ftp access, or give me a refund.
