Unknown error Logging in
doing a phpnuke integration and all seems well except when a user tries to go into a chat room they get a popup saying Unknown error. If they then login manually using their phpnuke credentials it all works fine !!
Here is an example logged in error.log 2006-04-27 20:46:11,191 ERROR - error to check userinfo from the url -- http://www.labradorforums.co.uk/modu...548370d76ce0ff : java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-" if i try the url manually i get a 0 to show all is well so any idea why i get the input string bit ???? |

when you visit this url,you will see that in phpnuke,it display "access is denied"
Please confirm if you have actived the phpnuke chat module at first,if you haven't active the module,it may deny your visiting |

The module is active for "registered members only"
the password is incorrect now as i have changed that user account password but the result used to be a single 0 on screen That isnt the problem, any ideas ? |

it seems to be that the DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC etc that is shown as input string is actually taken from the phpnuke webroot/header.php file ?
I really need this sorting asap, have raised a support ticket days ago but no useful help so far. |

ok i have narowed it down, its due to a conflict between an addon for phpnuke called Nuke Royal www.nukeroyal.com
Nuke Royal is a pay to subscribe addon, it allows you to set permissions on modules so that only subscribers have access. I can set the module perms to be any visitor and it works fine, but if i set the module perms to be subscriber access only then the chat rooms gets an unknown error when logging in. Any ideas on how to rectify this ? |

I have the same problem after upgrading to phpbb 2.0.20 using the phpbb integration module. A direct link to:
http://www.myhost.com/phpbb_login_ch...password=xxxxx Results in a 'wrong password' response of '1'. They changed a LOT of the password encryption and whatnot in the 2.0.20 update and I simply cannot get the chat to use the user database any longer. Creating a user in the default.xml file works fine, so I know the chat server software is operational. |
