That was not the problem. Sorry. I've sent parker several emails with more information, and no response.
The problem, again, I believe is due to phpbb not using MD5 anymore. PLEASE fix this or help me fix it if my server is fubar (but it shouldn't be, it used to work prior to the upgrade!) I need it working ASAP! It loads the room data, again, I can login fine with admin/user accounts defined in the .xml files, it just cannot work with the database. This shows up in the error log now. As per usual, I have responded to the email(s) and suddenly, support has stopped coming once the problem got a little complex :\
I've tried everything I was asked to do (which is the same thing that was asked above) and nothing worked. No one has offered any assistance of use and I have supplied all requested information. Does anyone have a clue what might be going on here??? Thanks! |

Hi pen_b,
Sorry for the delay to your response. First , since the login_chat.php returns the right value , I think the prob is not caused by the encrypted of phpbb, and then it mostly caused by the incorrect codes filled into the default.xml.If you can send us your default.xml file,we can check it further and send it back to you. Please let us know if we can be anu further assistance. PS: As Daniel mentioned before,to get a much quicker response , please contact us by using support@123flashchat.com. |

Greetings:
I just wanted to let everyone know that after oh, a month and a half, they did manage to help me figure out my problem. The problem was actually a misordered .htaccess file on the server, blocking requests from the netblock the server is on in the wrong order with the allow for the server itself. Thank you to Daniel for giving me a clue as to where to look, though he was convinced it was a firewall issue. |
