I have the same problem after upgrading to phpbb 2.0.20 using the phpbb integration module. A direct link to:
http://www.myhost.com/phpbb_login_ch...password=xxxxx Results in a 'wrong password' response of '1'. They changed a LOT of the password encryption and whatnot in the 2.0.20 update and I simply cannot get the chat to use the user database any longer. Creating a user in the default.xml file works fine, so I know the chat server software is operational. We need a fix. Paid you folks like 500 bucks. Need a fix ASAP. Thanks... |

I'm thinking the problem is that phpbb stopped using MD5 and started using an internal encryption schema in 2.0.20. MD5 is all over phpbb_login_chat.
Guests can login. Specifically defined users (in default.xml) can login. We just don't get the phpbb database users to work. |
