the new upgrade

I am trying to get my chat upgraded to the new 6.0 and i have been waiting for 3 for weeks...every week they tell me its coming its coming...finally tonight they tell me we can do it but its going to cost an extra 50 dollars to re-add the smileys and avatars that i paid for 3 months ago to be added. Now i do have to say this is ridulous...updates should be free...i was promised they would be free....that should include everything i paid to be added to the chat...no one told me when i paid for my smileys and avatars that everytime there is a new upgrade i have to pay again to re-add them....thats insane... i would like this problem taken care of...i have recommended this chat to freinds and customors of my site....i think 50 dollars to re-add my smileys and avatars it totally not fair considering i wasnt even told that i would have to pay everytime there is a new update. ???

First we feel sorry if any misunstanding caused by us.
Since our new 6.0 version is a whole new version , the client side source code also changes a lot.we do offer our customers the free upgrading ,but for the customzied work within client side ,our engineer have to spend working time again on it,we try to help you as much possiable as we can but still there will be a cost since we are not a quite large company.
I appreciate much for your understanding and still you can choose not to upgrade the client side to keep the customzied work,the 5.12 client side which you have currently could still work smooth with the new chat server side.

Sorry that you feel frustrated and unfair, it's our fault that we didn't notify you that the customization fee is not one-time fee when you place the order.
here's the reason,
all the parts of 123flashchat are now integrated together, not composed of function modules yet. We're in the process to recompose 123flashchat, so that the customization part can be added to new version flashchat as soon as new version release. But you have to understand it's a huge project, and takes efforts of a long run. Before that, we have to explain in our FAQ, that the customization on new version will cost you half of the original customization fee. It is because our engineer will spend the same long hours on the customization again, while as you may be aware, we charge hourly fee for development and customization.
we do garantee to offer free upgrade for users for certain long time, according to the license the user obtained, however, the free upgrade only covers the standard release, not the custom one.
We wish to make you happy, however, the fact is we have limited resource and we have to do business in this way. After all, $50 is not that much to you, right?
