Skin Resource Missing Error

Hi, I tried to update to the new 6.8.1 version of flashchat but I'm having a problem with it.

It seems to work ok as is, but when I start changing settings in the client.xml I get an error when trying to load the chat applet that says skin resource "" missing. This happens when you change ANYTHING in the client.xml file such as putting in a different registration url, profile url, help url, sound settings, ect.

I noticed that you changed where the client.xml resides and that you changed the default.xml to server.xml. I wonder if this has something to do with it as my chat is integrated with joomla. I had to custom code the joomla integration module as parker couldn't figure out how to get the login to integrate with Joomla 1.0.13's new salted sql database system so I didn't want to take a chance of updating the chat module for joomla. I wonder about this however as it seems to load just fine when leaving the client.xml as it is and if it was an issue with the login_chat.xml file or joomla module it seems to me that it wouldn't load at all period.

It's obviously an issue with the skin and in my opinion there is a bug somewhere that is affected by the moving of the client.xml file into the server folder as opposed to having it in the client folder.

I've sent an email to support a few days ago but haven't heard anything back yet. I really want to upgrade as many of our members complain about the extremely long load time of version 6.7 and it seems to put a lot of potential members off making it difficult to get a large number of people in chat. Since our site is focused on chat it's basically a site killer.

Please let me know if anyone else has experienced this problem.

I had the same problem with my skin. I had to move all my files into the standard skin and use that.

Sorry for the inconvience.
We have done some improvement in our present version.
Please pay attention to the attachment file which is a updated 123flashchat.swf
Please replace the old 123flashchat.swf with the new one, then retry again.
