Default Integration with SMF

I'm trying to use the SMF plugin. We are using 1.1.5 of SMF. The plugin has database objects that seem to be obsolete. I have updated that portion. When I navigate to the 123flashchat.php file, I does retrieve the User and Password from the database using the URL method. However, how does the chat server become aware of the database? Is that set up somewhere else? Also, we store the passwords in MD5 so I need some what of dealing with that.

Also, there doesn't seem to be any module to actually install into SMF that puts the Link and List of Users on the Forum Main page. It should be where you can click on "Show unread posts since last visit"

Please advise.

Default Re: Integration with SMF

well,we use 123flashchat.php to get the username and password that is in cookies or sockets, and we use login_chat.php to authenticate the account. And don't worry about the Md5 encryption,we have considered it.
Let us know if we could help you nay further.
