We seem to be experiencing an intermittent problem with 123Flashchat version 6.4 running with
java version "1.6.0_06" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_06-b02) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 10.0-b22, mixed mode From time to time the user chat connections fail and the log files record the following messages. ERROR - Error connection INIT command -- java.nio.channels.SocketChannel[connected local=/**.**.**.**:51127 remote=/**.**.**.**:3450] Restarting the server, after seeing the problem, seems to help for an a couple of days then the problem crops up again. Searching in previous posts I saw this was a bug in previous versions and should already be fixed in the version we are running. Any thoughts? |

I made a mistake on the server version.
I't is 6.7 My company is trying to launch it's new site but it is now delayed by the strange problems with the chat servers. Network scans reveal the server is requesting the connection close by sending the first TCP FIN flag to the client instead of the other way around. Since there are no real debug options apparent in the configuration files, I'm left with the conclusion there is a problem with the chat server. I will gladly upgrade to the latest version if there is good reason to think it will help with this problem. My company has unlimited licenses for our chat servers and currently time is very limited for launching our site. |
