At the login page the "Rooms List" pull down is empty. After login the client fails and reports "Enter Room Failed!" even though the room ID is already included in the URL.
Is there any reason that the HTML client would fail to read the "Rooms List"? The flash client works fine. Thanks |

Some further details/investigation
I was using the client folder published to my IIS site located on the same server bcause I wanted to utilize my installed SSL certificate to encrypt the HTML chat client. The page would not find any rooms whether I connected with SSL or not to the IIS site and would fail to "enter". I have since figured out that if I hit the chat server application directly at http://my.domain.com:35555/html-chat-login.html (instead of hitting my IIS site at https://my.domain.com/client/html-chat-login.html) it works just fine. I am left to assume that the HTML client requires some server side scripting that IIS is not configured to allow but the FlashChat server is. Is there a way to work around this? I would rather use my SSL secured IIS site to serve this client. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
