Scenario:
After a few messages the chat client stops receiving new messages. My own messages are shown to others, though. The same problem is appearing on two different sites using the 123Flash chat software. Same issue using both Explorer 8.0 and Chrome Tried actions: Reinstalled Flash ActiveX Reinstalled Chrome (For included Flash Player software) Run RegClean Restored Windows to a point before the issue started occuring. The problem remains. Anyone got a clue on what is going on? Regards, Emoy |

Please check the server/logs/error.log, is there a error notice out of memory? Or if only one room appears this problem, maybe you set the moderator chat function, you can set in admin panel.
If the problem still exist, please send us a ticket. For buyer user, send email to support@123flashchat.com; If you don't buy one, please send email to sales@123flashchat.com. |

Further information:
Tried loggin in as another user on the same computer. Problem still persisted. Tried using Explorer InPrivate browsing - problem disappeared. So it seems there are some settings stored globally for the computer that are the root of the problem, these settings are most likely not accessible during InPrivate browsing. In other words - it is definately a client issue, not a server issue. Btw, on one of the chat sites I am moderator for the room, but not on the other. Didn't make any difference though ![]() |

I guess you missed my point. It is not the chat that is the problem, it seems to be the client. Going into different chat rooms on different servers which has 123 Flash chat I get the same issue. Also - none of the people I've spoken to has seen the same issu on the chat server.
So basically, it's my machine that has issues. Which again, makes it difficult to analyze on your part. I have a feeling it has something to do with local storage fron the flash player. Does that seem reasonable? Anyways - don't spend too much energy on this - I'll reformat my machine in a few days anyways. |
