Default iPhone, iPad and Android

123 Flash Chat is supposed to work on iPhone, iPad and Android but so far, none of my clients have been able to log in using iPhone or iPad or they were met with a bad interface (Android).

I have sent them to the appropriate URL's. Anyone else with this problem?

F.

Same here with a difference.

123Flashchat doesn't work with android or tablets in general for audio and video from what I've been learning.

My tablet tests show that the user can log into the chat but there is no way to access audio and video so it's just a text chat.

The marketing information states compatibility all over the place but the one thing you never notice until you spend time looking closer is no audio or video, only text.

Why are we always invited to open tickets when we ask questions? So that the replies aren't put in the forums where they can turn up in search engines is my guess lately.

If anyone knows how to enable audio/video on a tablet for flash chat, I would sure love to know about it.

As an update, there is no way of doing this.
Because FC is a flash application only, the flash player on most mobile and tablet devices cannot access the microphone or camera in order to show it's user in chat. The user is therefore stuck in text mode only.

Most of these devices DO support AIR but then you need to use applications which are AIR capable and FC is not.

Until FC is made AIR compatible or that adobe flash finds a way to access the A/V in most of these devices, such users are relegated to text mode only.

I hope admin deletes the spam in this thread.

Anyhow, as an update, the only software that will work is a combination of Android 2.3 and Adobe AIR 3.0 and of course, the app has to be AIR compiled.

Ask and ye might receive in an update soon.

I have to buy yet more software from another since FC won't do what I need on a new site we're building.

Darn, that is a long time but I do look forward to this, thanks for letting me/us know.

I will have to suggest another solution to my customer for now however since we have a project that needs to be up in one month.

Thanks.

For anything of value, you need to be running android 2.3 and the latest flash. However, flash cannot access camera's and microphones just yet. It will come in the near future as more and more people are begging for it.

AIR does work however, I've tested that but not many apps out there using AIR.

Spammers are at least one of the lowest forms of life.
Not only do they want something for nothing but they are willing to steal other peoples resources to achieve that.

Bottom dwellers, get a job and earn your money.
