I know that when you install 123FlashChat you can intergrate it with JomSocial and use the JS database. But how about adding a new JomSocial site later?
I have 123FlashChat running using my own database. Do I just install the JS extension and tell FC to use the JS database instead? I do understand my users might have to register again but that is no problem. F. |

That is when you have a JomSocial site and you want to add a new 123FlashChat later. However, I have bought the chat already. It has 250 members at the moment (and is doing very well by the way).
What I want to do is to install JomSocial plus the JS-extension for FlashChat and then to connect the two of them up so the existing users can edit profile pages and new users can register via the JomSocial page. So it is not adding 123FlashChat to an existing JomSocial site but adding a new JomSocial to 123FlashChat (which is already running). Hope I made it a little clearer this way ![]() |

You mean that your chat integrated to your JomSocial, and now you want add the chat to JS extension.
"JS-extension" - Is it Joomla plugin for JomSocial? If this is Joomla plugin, the chat can be added also, for Joomla and JomSocial use the same database. If JS extension is not Joomla plugin, I think you should send a ticket to our support, we need to know more of the extension. I think you have bought the license, please send a ticket to license@123flashchat.com And our support will solve your problem asap. Thx |

Nearly right
![]() 123FlashChat is installed and working already. It is using its own database. Joomla and JomSocial are not installed yet. I want to install both and add your JomSocial plugin. Now can I hook a new JomSocial installation up to the existing 123FlashChat? |

You have to make clear that one chat only can be integrated to one website.
Why one chat can be integrated to Joomla and JomSocial, it is because there is JomSocial plugin for Joomla, so they can share the same database. I don't know your JomSocial can be added to your website, whether they can share the same database. So I suggest you to send us a ticket: license@123flashchat.com You are license buyer, we can provide you free integration service. |

Well, we solved it by adding a new database, installing JomSocial, integrate 123FlashChat (by one of your experts) and then send all the users the new URL. Works like sunshine now.
One question though: When you hover your mouse over the user list in the chat, their email address is visible and people are nog very happy about that. Is there anywhere in the php where I can change that? F. |
