Did you check those peoples accounts to see if they filled everything in properly? Sometimes the trouble lies between the keyboard and the desk chair

Anyway, this is such an odd problem that the source wil be VERY hard to find, especially if it is not consistent. In that case I can only advise you bend the company rules for once and have someone from TopCMM have a look at it. We're all just guessing now and that will get you nowhere.

And remember, it is Whit Monday

Dear lewism,

The issue can be caused by a problem in login php file. We have replied your ticket.

com_chat\views\login\view.html.php We will check it and let you know the outcome later.

Any other questions, please let me know. I will be glad to help.

Let's not head down that road again .
Yes, everything is most definitely filled in just fine. Practically everything that I've needed help with so far has been outside of simple configuration changes. Some have been but most have been something that needed to be added/changed in a file.

I've already told support several times that I can give them access but I need a fixed IP to allow in. I can't just open an ssh or other port and leave it there indefinitely, I at least need an IP and some idea of when it'll happen so there isn't some panic on our end.

Lordy! 1445 seconds to wait before I can post again. When will that ever be changed???

LOL! I am afraid that is due to a tip that "somebody" gave the admin here to stop the spam. Putting a delay in between posts does work but I'm afraid they overdid it a little...

By the way, the techs here can generally tell you in advance when they are going to have a look at your problem. The SSH would only need to be valid for a couple of hours.

I hope someone lowers it soon, it's way too high. One minute should be plenty to discourage pretty much anyone in forums that are moderated.

I can do it depending on the site support needs access to since there are two, joomla server and fc server. But, I still need an IP to even allow ssh.

Dear Lewism,
This is basically a "customer help customer" forum,
so to get in touch with our tech support, I strongly recommend you to send an email to support@123flashchat.com,
cause only in that way you can get a more professional and instant help.
Thanks for understanding!

Do you have the same problem ( site is showing the users real name instead of their username)? If so, please modify this file.

1. Go to <joomla site>\components\com_chat\views\chat\view.html.php
2. Locate
$chaturl .= "&init_nickname=".rawurlencode(htmlspecialchars_de code($user-name));
3. change $user->name to $user->username

If you have any question, please submit a ticket and our support team will reply ASAP
