Tips for securing FS

I've come across many posts on the Internet which talks about hacking FS. Most if not all, at least current, I'm sure have been taken care of through updates.

I have decided this time to put the FS application on the same server as the Joomla site and would welcome any tips on securing the site from any known or potential exploits.
