What are some of the reasons for the following error?

'Failed to connect to the flash media server, or wrong flash media server address, please contact the chat room administrator.'

The server is running, we can text chat but this error comes up when we try to enable video camera.

PS: It is very silly of you to set the forums so that we have to wait such long times to post a second time. Again, why not get rid of non customer accounts then have MODERATED registrations so that we customers do not have to suffer such limits.

If you use the default red5, please refer to following steps.

1. Please check your configuration of fcserver.xml
Open <your chat installed directory>\server\etc\fcserver.xml
Find: <rtmp-server port="21935" enable="On" ip="*"></rtmp-server>
If it is not "On", it means the port is disabled.

2. Please check your configuration of server.xml
Open <your chat installed directory>\server\etc\groups\default\server.xml
Find: <flash-media-server targetURI="rtmp::21935/123flashchat"></flash-media-server>
Please check whether here is rtmp::21935/123flashchat. If the above port( in step 1, rtmp server port) is changed, please change the corresponding FMS URI here.

After configuration, please restart the chat server.
