1. We are sure our server application is high performance and high stability, that means,it could be running with lower cpu waster ,and could handle thousands of users online, it's not possible to impact your hosting server.
2. Our demo version is runing on the redhat linux OS, your hosting server can totally work fine.
3. you haven't installed any version of jdk if you upload our server application for linux to your server, it's bound with jdk1.4.2.
4. just open a ssh client, connect to your server, and uncompress our application,
$ tar zxf fcserver.tar.gz
$ ./fcserver.sh start
then check if your server is running:
$ ps -ef |grep java
One more thing , if your hosting provider doesn't permit to run the chat application at all, we can provide a chat server hosting service with a extra fee.
If you purchased our server software, we can provide the installation service for free.
