Instant messenger new version

Hi, it's been a while since the Instant Messenger has been released and it would be nice to have a new version.

1. The javascript doing the checks for new messages is problematic. When I include the javascript files in the pages, it often causes other javascript functions on the page to be disabled until it completes the check to see if the user has new instant messages and if the check takes a while this can freeze the page for a while by temporarily disabling javascript buttons. Also it makes some of my standard html links non clickable.

If the checks for a new instant message can be done via a tiny flash app inserted on each page then that would eliminate the javascript issues.

If javascript must be used to check for new instant messages then it would be good if we have the option to insert the code into an invisible iframe and have the check done from that iframe so that it does not hinder the processing of the regular page. Current we can not do this because the flash invite floater displays only in the frame that the javascript is called from.
