When having the module on multiple sites, if I change settings on one site chat, it should use those on the other sites chat, especially if they both connect to the same server. - When I say setting I mean the users ones, like sound on or off, etc.

Is there a way to keep the xoops session live whilst in chat, as it currently logs you off the cms is your inactive for too long.

With the video and voice chat, can members see who's listing and watching and I think it's a good option, perhaps also an option to stop certain members viewing and listening to yours.

Groups - User access that works on groups, and can work with CMS groups to set access to various features, you have three tear membership set by admin, FREE limited Features, Premium advanced features, like backgrounds, room creation, etc, moderator - access to ban, kick, close open rooms, etc. - This will help your customers generate money from chat, as members are often willing to pay more for advance features, for example, I'd be more will to buy the voice and video plugin knowing I can limit can allow all to chat but only paid memembers in a group to use the av options, even though free members could perhaps still see and hear the premium memebrs. For use with CMS, the module could copy groups into the chat admin, then reference a user when they join to see what priviliage they have which can be set by admin.

Tabed chat - Allow user to go into more than one room, rooms open in tabs like firefox tabs, except chat tabs, when a message comes in a tab that he/she is not viewing a noise is made and the tab flashes.

Place profanity checker into admin area making it dynamic for admin to add and replace profanities, rather than hard coding them, also allow profanity to be replaced with another word ie #No swearing#, then have an option admin can set to kick the user after so many warnings (admin sets amount), then another option to track ip and offer ban option after being kicked X amount of times set by admin. Option to also turn profanity check off per room or all rooms.

Option to add admins and chat moderators (ie mods that can kick, gag and ban) via admin and set thier access level and what they can do. When I refer to moderators, I don't mean the moderator module, I mean chat enforcers.

Help Bot, option to set a list of questions and potential answers, so users can ask the bot a question which can be answered when no admins are present, ie how to change avatar, bot could reference change and avatar, then give an answer <-- this could be a premium mod

Font sizer, for those with partial sighting, this would allow them to size all the text in the client making it bigger and smaller.

Allow user create room, allow user to close room, allow user to password protect room, allow admin and moderator to still access password protected rooms by user without password.

Option for AV/Vid to allow admin to set what rooms it can be used it, and a room icon showing it can be used. (unless this option is already available of course)

Client:

I'd like to see a better laid out client, ie the way it displays the rooms on the first screen, perhaps have a look at how chatblazer handle it, ie user logs into a splash page, could be a news page or even a default chat room set by admin. The room list is then like a tree menu on the right hand side.

I don't know what it is, I just don't like how they look like bars, perhaps a two column clean design square box's? I don't know perhaps people prefer it like it is, but it also seems a wast of space to have a big long bar?

PocketPC, can people not log in if on a pocket pc?

If so perhaps an option to still allow member log in, which would be great for sites with CMS's.

Plus I'd like to use this as a simple client for non subscription members on my sites.

Desktop Client

I'd like some way to for the client to work with a cms group, so that it limits features for certain groups, ie:

premium subscriber: all features including image upload, video, etc, etc. (obviously if you have purchased the modules/plugins)

Free member: basic chat no extra features, although they could still see images if a premium member uploaded.

This would be a great way to make money, ie give them a basic taster, then if they upgrade, you make some dosh.

After making this post, in specific the Helpbot thing, I then saw your Robot. I asked Will about this (I think it was will), he informs me it won't be released as a plugin, this is a great shame, if it was released and programable from admin this would be a great feature, and one I've been asking my current software company for over 2 years.

I'd love this feature as a plugin.

Allow admin and moderator to ban user as follows with further options below:

+ Ban permanent - As you can now.

+ Ban time

Allow admin to ban by his set time, ie clicks ban then three options appears (perm, time, room), he can then enter how long if not a perm ban.

+ Ban by room - As it says by room, which could be perm or time as above.

A user could still log in but on each room (In the room list and also a warning message if he tries to log in) it will show a message:

Banned - Permanent
Banned until **.**AM/PM

Possibly allow admin to place custom text, for example you might want to put something like "if you wish to appeal please contact XYZ at XYZ" - With link possibility

Thank you so much for all of your advice , they could be a great help in our future version's developing.

About some of them:
1. About chat bot , so far it can't be customzied in very special request , but you can predefine some message for it like a welcome message or auto bot message.
2. As default the pocket pc is set to be auto login as guest, you can attach a init_room followed it and make it for special room only[which room for guest only].
3. premium and free member: since different website has their own way to define and program the members account, this is hard to control directly in chatroom, but it could be a customzied work I think.[or we can easily make them to be just member and guest in chatroom , there is option for control them : guest can't use video or guest cant use image tranfer in server side ]
4. about xoops session: the chatroom just use it while the login , I think we can make it longer in chatroom's integration page by coding the PHP pages [the chatroom itself has no power to control page session].
5.Tabed chat ,due to the limit of flash player, the tab may not be able to flashs .

PS:
We will release the 123flashchat 7.0 later months, which the version has really a lot of changes in appearance and functions ,etc ... ...

I've seen it said several times that 7.0 is coming. Is there any definite time frame for 7.0?
