Default New Features Wish

I would really really really like to see an option where users can create their own public rooms.

I would also like to see a different room listing structure, basically what we need is a catagory drop down branching structure where you would have a catagory created by the administrator eg. "united States" and then a dropdown branch showing each room eg. "alaska, alabama, arkansas, ect."

This would make browsing the rooms much easier and save space.

I would also like to see the video/voice icon changed to show both the cam icon as well as a microphone icon as many of our users simply want to voice chat without cam and are unsure how to start their microphone. Even better than this would be to have 2 seperate buttons, one for cam and one for microphone.

Another feature I would like is to improve on the mouse over feature when you mouse over a username to not only show ip location but to reflect profile information such as gender and so on. Ideally I would like to see an integration option with this for those of us that use joomla or similar to pull the info to show on mouse over from the joomla profile.

Many other "free" chat scripts have these features and would like to see them in 123 which we pay for.

about video/audio item. in fact ,our present chat has the function ,you could realize the function by the following ways :

1) find the server.xml in the directory:
<123flashchat installed directory>/server/etc/groups/default/server.xml
then you could set the parameter as the following:
<audio-video audio="On" video="Off" needRequest="On" adminNeedRequest="Off" canShutOffAdmin="On" moderatorNeedRequest="Off" canShutOffModerator="On" maxWindow="5" activeRooms="*" allowGuest="On"></audio-video>
make sure restart your chat after the operation.

2)open your video firstly ,then put your mouse on the video frame, you could see two small icons. The left one controls the video and the right one decides the audio, select one of the icons and left click it , then it will be disabled.Left click it again ,it will be actived again .

Yeah, I don't think you understood what I was saying here about the audio video button.

I know that when you open the video window the option is there to mute or unmute and to pause or unpause the webcam.

What I was talking about was the icon at the top with the little webcam on it that you click on to open your cam and start your audio. It's confusing to our members as they don't realize that this button starts the audio as well. All they see is the webcam icon and think that it just starts their cam, not their audio. The button should have both a webcam icon and a microphone icon so that users understand that it starts audio as well.

Also, speaking of the option to mute and unmute the sound in the video box, there should be a way to help filter out the echo effect people get when they have webcams up that they are watching and in turn broadcasting that sound over their own microphone. How about a "push to talk" option? Better yet a "push to talk" option, a "always on" option, and an "always off" feature. People might be more inclined to only push to talk helping to reduce the echo effect when the mic is always on.
