Ok, I know several of us have asked before but I'll ask again, Can we please get the ability for users to create their own rooms? Most other chat progs out there have this ability and I would really really like to have it. When looking through some of the 123flashchat code it looks like there is some old code left over from a time when this actually was possible, was this possible before but removed?

Next wish and is a MUST have, please change the room list structure to be able to have a category branch down structure instead of showing all rooms. I have over 60 rooms and scrolling through them all is a pain in the butt. For example, I have a room for each of the 50 US states, if we could have the rooms in categories all 50 of the state rooms would not show unless someone clicked on the "US State Rooms" category. This would make for a much cleaner look and make choosing a room much easier for users. Plus it would cut down on load time when the chat is opened as it would not need to load an entire list of over 60 rooms, just a handfull of categories. I'm sure that the current room list is fine if you only have a few rooms but over 60 rooms it just doesn't work well.

Also, with the new mp3 and youtube type video modules how about a way for members to add their own videos and songs to it? Obviously you would have to create a browsing or search feature to let people actually find what they want on it but I wouldn't think it would be that tough. I played with the mp3 module a bit in the last version and thought it was a cool idea but not everyone wants to listen to the songs I upload. I actually have a video sharing component in my site and would be cool if the new video module could somehow integrate with it. This isn't really a big deal just thought it would be neat to have. User created rooms and a better room list is still a must have in my book.

Also, how about a way to add regular .gif emoticons? There are a lot of emoticons I would like to use but can't because it can't use .gifs.

I would also like to have the webcam window resize actually resize porportionately instead of the way it is now. It's hard to keep the image porportionate the way it is now when you make the window bigger.

I would also like to be able to choose different banner ads for different rooms. For example adult only rooms could have more adult themed ads shown where regular rooms would not, or I could show ads more targeted for the type of room they are in. An example of that would be say in a sports themed room I could show sports themed ads, or a poker room I could show poker ads. I think it would really help to target the ads down allowing us to make more money to justify paying for the full version of chat.

Another thing I would really like to see is a feature that shows the sex and location when you mouse over a user name. I have chat integrated with joomla so it could just pull the info over from the joomla database just like it does for login info. I would also like to see an ability for users to have their profile photo pulled over into chat which they could use as their avatar, or maybe it would be easiest if you could just do it this way: When you mouse over a user name it would pop up a small box showing the profile info pulled over from the joomla database including their profile photo. It would be pretty easy to set it up to work with what ever database the site uses, not just joomla, basically just allow the site owner to input the database tables that the info will be taken from. I'd be willing to pay extra for a module like that, you could use the existing simple profile system you have in the nickname module to base it on. Just instead of using the info a user puts into the nickname module it would pull from the database tables that the website owner tells it to. Or instead of doing it by mouse over you could add a "view quick profile" to the options when you click on a name. Now that I think about it I think this would be a very easy bit of code to include and would make for a great feature for people like me that integrate chat with a profile system.

Still, the most important things is to allow users to create their own public or private rooms and to change the current room list structure.

Ok, you got some good ideas, go make it happen!

Also, how about a way to set your webcam to auto allow for people that want to allow everyone to view their cam. This way you don't have to manually hit "allow" when someone wants to view your webcam, would be very handy if you are away from your computer doing something that you want other members to see.
