Hallo.
I was looking around the web and noticed that the trend these days with chat softwares is having them communicate to other IM clients eg yahoo messenger, AOL, HOTMAIL LIVE etc, using jabber server. for example www.meebo.com and http://www.centova.com/pages/messenger use this type of system. Now it would be nice for 123flashchat guys to create this type of module that one buys and adds to his core chat server so that his members can chat with their friends from other IM systems rite from 123flashchat.. --123flashchat guys may decide to host the jabber server and let those customers who buy this module pay some kind of monthly fee for connecting to this jabber server. Am sure this would make 123flashchat server unbeatable ever.. Please someone from 123flashcaht tell me what you think about this idear. Thnx http://www.beltic.com |

Very good suggestion.
Currently we could have one each MSN communicating to one single room after choosing the CRRC module, and for 1 to 1 communication,we have 123webmesenger ,you may try our demo at "http://www.123flashchat.com/123webmessenger/". |

Ok this is what i was thinking, currently 123flashing chat has a "Buddy List" module. now if a menu was added on this Buddy list frame having say 4 small round buttons of different colors each acting as a link to say (yahoo, hotmail,Aol,Gmail) floating submenu containing [Import contacts, online status,etc]... This way one will be able to chat with his friends on other IM clients after importing them rite from 123flashchat using only one IM id for all the other external IM's through JABBER cross communication.
Anyone currently using 123flashchat please bring forward idears related to this topic so may be we may in the short future see this module created by 123flashchat wizards.. http://www.beltic.com |

kats that's a great idea, i was just comming in to mention something similar!
Why not just make an optional intant messenger program similar to yahoo's im that works WITH the flashchat client's buddy list. Basically when you add a buddy in chat it would also add to your im program. Then make it a really usefull app by using the jabber server option letting it work with the other big databases. I personally would like a way to host the im server on my own machine instead of paying a monthly fee to have it hosted else where but it could be just like the flashchat is now where you can do it either way. I had paid to have the exe desktop app for flashchat when I first purchased it but had to quickly remove it as most of the main virus protection programs saw it as a virus. If you do decide to make a desktop im app I hope you take that into consideration before releasing it, especially now that the search engines are taking a more active role on alerting people to sites that may have harmful downloads I would be very leary of trying the desktop exe app again unless that issue was addressed. But it would be cool to have a stand alone desktop im app integrated with the chat buddy list with a button to open the chat client right from the im app. But really, how cool would a good desktop im app that's integrated with your chat's buddy list be? I looked at your current im program that you offer and I'm not really very interested in that type of im app, I'm thinking more like a stand alone desktop im app similar to yahoo's im app integrated with chat. |

I have been doing some digging around and came up with this open source project to clone meebo.com ie:http://www.soashable.com/
just thought 123flashchat may find it interesting to use this kind of tech to archive cross platform IM chating http://www.beltic.com |

We should allow jabber clients to make video/audio calls to users on other protocols such as MSN messenger or Yahoo messenger. This is done by adding support for Jingle over Jabber transports. It is entirely possible that Jingle compatible clients need no new work to "just work", and that converters only need to be added on the server side now to support it.
The benefits? - Any IM chat client which supports Jabber+jingle+jingle via transports(may not be needed), can support AV over ANY chat protocol without extra code (even new ones that don't exist at the time of programming). - Much less code. Currently, we have to add code to EVERY client, for every different IM protocol included. With this idea, clients would only need to support the jingle JEP over Transports. This means they can spend more time working on adding features! - Users logging into only one jabber account, will automatically be able to access all their other IM accounts on other networks. __________________________________________________ _____________ Self Cert Mortgages UK limousine services |

On the note of that:
Well i have another suggestion aswell. WHy would you not integrate the 123messenger with the chatserver itself instead of using it as an external program. For example: MSn Messenger is a very popular program what does the exact same thing and many ppl r using it. Basically what im suggesting is that you can chat with ppl in chatrooms on the chatserver using 123webmessenger. |
