Avatar/Public and privet rooms creation/audio

* Each user has three options: to upload a personal picture, select an avatar from the ones provided, or choose to have no picture. This can all be disabled by the admin. or admin can add their preferred avatars to the avatar folder.

* If a user uploads a picture or selects an avatar from the list provided, it displays in the room's users' list. The default list displays neat little mini avatar pictures, to allow larger numbers of users to appear on the list. But a user can hover another user's name to see their full size avatar picture, or select for all users to appear with their full sized avatar.


*Public and Private Rooms Creation

The creation of public and private rooms are available as an option. The network admin has the ability to turn these features ON and OFF. If this option is made available by the admin, users will have the ability to create rooms. The creator of that room then becomes the administrator of that room.

*When Broadcasting audio
The users can speak or wait their turn to speak by simple holding down the "CONTROL" key on their keyboard or by clicking on cam on/off button.


123flashchat should only provide multiple speakers to speak to each other at the same time on privet not in public. Administrators can decide in certain rooms who can speak and who cannot.

Dear Duvet:

Thanks for your good advice. For avatar, 123flashchat V8.0 allow admin to integrate user's profile including avatar with their own website. You could try this function in our demo site Demo of 123 Flash Chat Server Software . You could registe user and upload picture as avatar. Then you can use this avatar in 123flashchat.

For Public and Private Rooms Creation,I have transfer your this advice to our staff, and maybe we will add it in the next version of 123 Flash Chat.

For *When Broadcasting audio, you may uncheck handfree checkbox,and click "talk" button to control Broadcasting audio.

Built-in “push to talk” button enables automatic video / audio transmit from the speaker to entire room. In order to be activated, a user has to raise the hand. This symbolizes the will to participate in the conference. All the raised hands, accordingly, appear in queue. That means the exact time of each is captured. All hands appear at the top of the list for admin. Admin has the right to approve or reject the raised hand within one click. Consequently, if the raised hand is approved the user may start broadcasting. In case of rejection the raised hand disappears from the list. If someone enters already started conference he / she receives the stream automatically.

Another version is gone........still didn't add the future that i have requested in 2009 ....really upset....i think they are waiting for some one to customize it ..and than release on their version ..anyway
