Thumbs up Handy suggestions for mod control :)

I wrote this suggestions to license@123flashchat.com on March, this year. We are in October now. They did replied "Our R&D colleagues will consider this seriously", but nothing yet :P

I'll post them here, in case anyone reads them and find them useful!

1. Ask for a "reason" when you silence or kick someone, and save it in the control panel with the moderator name.

Explanation: when you BAN someone from the chat, a pop-up message asks for a reason. And then it displays a message for everyone, like "XXX user was banned by the Admin. Reason: XXX". And it saves the reason, date and admin name in the control panel. The functionality is already there.

It would be GREAT if this funcionality was also available for the "silence" and "kick" options, available for moderators. It would make the chat much more organized and the moderators would take their 'jobs' more seriously. This would be incredibly useful if the chat has a lot of users and mods.

2. From the control panel, if you turn the option "notify the room if someone enters or leaves the room" OFF, it also disables the notifications displayed if someone is kicked out of the room.

It would be great if you could have the notifications of people entering and leaving disabled, but still receieve notifications if someone is kicked out of the room or silenced. It would make the chat "cleaner", with less messages of people entering and leaving the room constantly, yet letting them know if someone is kicked (and for what reason and from what moderator, if suggestion #1 is applied) ^_^

I hope someone reads this and add it in some update! Thanks for reading.

Dear sir, sorry for the delay reply.

Thanks for your post.

For the "kicked out of the room or silenced", when someone is kicked, and then he will exist room automatically, so if you open the sound for "when someone exists room", others will hear the sound, but unchecked the sound for "when someone exists room", others won't hear the sound.

Thanks for replying!

Yes, it does have a sound alert, but most of the time, people chat with the sound off.

It would be great if you could disable the notifications of people entering and leaving the room, but still receieve (text, not audio) notifications if someone is kicked out of the room or silenced.
