Ban Option for Moderators - Act the same as the Admin Ban button, but is for Moderators.
Hand and hand with the Ban option for Moderators -> Moderator Panel - similar to the Admin panel, but exclusively for the moderators to handle the currently banned users in the chat room (enabling ban to be from 1min-forever range) instead of just a fixed amount. Kicks - Enabling the kick to affect users who leave the room (typically after flooding, spamming, et cetera). - Enabling kicks to be IP, Computer and Name based, more like the Ban option. Thanks. |

Wow.. I just thought about this and came here to post the same. But you were quicker than me. :-)
I too expect this option to allow moderators to ban users only! For now there are a lot of spammers at our chat who come to spam and our moderators are not able to ban them forever. For they can only kickout chatters, our kickout time is very low and those spammers come to chat again.. It's a heache for me to check those spammers in logs and ban them. Please add this option in upcoming versions. Thank you. |

Hi,
This is a nice mod. I was thinking about requesting something similar to this before you posted this. What I was thinking about was adding something like this in the CC panel instead. But this works well too. |

Actually the above suggestions are not the best suggestions (as far as I am concerned) because it lacks flexibility. It would be lot better if we ourself can define a usergroup (just as in vBulletin). We define the user groups, we'll set their powers. vBulletin is the best forum script available in the market and i want their features (at least user group feature) to be included in 123flashchat. I know it's little hard to program that in java, but that's not impossible.

Also, with respect to the wishlist; if it's possible for moderators and admins to temporarily disable name changing from users and disabling their ability of getting on cam. If these are no independently possible, then can it be possible through merely muting the user.
Currently, when users are Muted, they can still change their names; this enables them the ability of still interacting. Thanks. |

Good point, but I think the more control in diverse ways the moderator and admin have for their users and their room, the better.
