Wishlist: Our 2012 wishlist...

Dear 123 Flash Chat,

We would like to say Happy New Year! We hope that our wishlist can give you ideas for the future of 123 Flash Chat.

1.) User Created Room Module. This would just save a lot of time from administration, and would help clean the unwanted room clutter as if this was available once every user leaves, the room is gone or until the user makes a new room. This feature just makes sense and should be top priority somewhere.
2.) User Customize Skins Module - If possible to make the system more fair we would like a system in place where users can change the look / feel over their client instead of admins controlling this. This also makes more sense because if the site administrator has multiple skins and one skin is dark and another skin is light it makes it hard to see if someone is on a dark skin where the user with the white skin can't see certain colors. So it would be nice to see the users being able to have a Skin Editor on their client side, and the skins for each user are saved server side.
3.) Better room management for room owners / moderators. Going to the administration side to add a YouTube clip each time gets quite annoying, also maybe the ability to have a kick / ban list per room.
4.) Sub Rooms - Rooms that are not quite part of a main room can be part of another room underneath a main room, if this makes sense for example if you have a room called USA, then Sub Rooms listing the States, etc. This would clean up a lot of room clutter.
5.) VIP, Premium, Plus - more options to this in the future to control what people have as certain memberships. Such as maybe a VIP might be able to view 20 cams, and be able to use the Send File and Picture Sharing Feature, etc.
6.) Being able to set a keyboard key to talk, so instead of pushing the microphone icon to talk, it would be nice for users to have a shortcut key that they can press from the keyboard, this is great for those users that are disabled.
7.) Chat Zoom In options - Once again being able to make the whole entire chat client bigger for some users that are disabled this would make things nice and easier on them.
8.) I suggest at least 2-3 more Professional Skins, that are not so bright. A lot of the current 123 Flash Chat Skins are too bright and some users tend to have a hard time with the bright skins. It just would make much more sense to offer those skins or even out the skins with some bright, medium and dark. (However just regular skins, not holiday skins)
9.) HTML5 would be nice to have this year.
10.) Multiplayer Games - I'm not sure if your team specializes in this but it would be nice to have games like Spades, Chess, Checkers, etc. for users to have time and also to choose if these are VIP, Premium or Plus required.
11.) HD Audio/Cams - Not sure if it is possible but it would be nice to see more HD into the site, also to make it VIP, Premium, Plus (depending on the administration).
12.) Whiteboard Save - This is an idea one of our members brought up, is to be able to save something they are working on within the whiteboard and then bring it back into the programs whiteboard so like a save / upload functionality. Not sure if it is possible, but it was just an idea one of our members brought to us with.
13.) Offline / Mailbox Notification area - It would be nice to have an offline message system where if go offline and someone sends a person a message have it go to like a Message Center, maybe next to the wrench add a Mail Icon with the # of new Messages waiting to be read.
14.) Registered users Ignore List - People who are registered their ignore list should save instead of having to keep making a new ignore list each time they log out and log back in. However for Guests their ignore lists should be cleared each time like it is now
15.) Teleport users from one room to another - It would be nice for a Site Administrator who has different areas of the site and a user in the wrong room for things, a site admin can teleport a user into another room that suits their discussion needs.

We hope you enjoy and if we can think of anything else we would be sure to post them as our ideas help you.

Notes:
We would love to see the Video Conference Module improved to where we can choose where we want that module activated instead of all rooms. We may want our main room to be the standard audio / video and then another to have the conference module, so it would be nice if we as the site owners can choose which room that module is activated in.

16.) A New Option - Use a persons font size to control both Incoming / Outgoing text sizes - This would basically override the users font size, so let's say I set my font size to 22 and a person types in 14 and with the setting checked it will change all others font sizes to 22 which is my size, this makes it easier for those who have trouble seeing, someone with a size 10, however this must a be a option in options.
17.) Room Invite Feature - It would be nice for those that are on our buddy list we can invite them to a room we are in if they are in another room.

By this do you specifically mean the chat and input area?
Because we do have some skins that are quite dark, like Artistic, Black and Beige,
but we do keep the areas mentioned above bright,
only for users' sake to be able to easier recognize the words on the screen.
Your suggestion made us consider to adjust the background and text colors to make them darker.
Maybe it will be a good idea to start with.

In a way yes. The reason why I say this is because the color system is quite limited still in 123 Flash Chat as you will see in a support ticket from me when you guys get the chance

Like if you go to your colormap website for the skin.
Let's say for example:
#12 on the color map the Guest Name Color controls the Menu Color for the wrench which lacks the ability to really control the darkness of the chat as if let's say we decide we want a dark purple for example, for guest names black and purple is hard to read in the user list but works great for the wrench so it does give us some lack of color freedom.

However that is where I think #2.) on our wishlist might work out great if users had the ability to customize their own look / feel.

18.) Clean up History - It would be nice to be able to flush the history files after awhile this applies to like the upgrade membership history, virtual gift history, the earn credits history. I'm just bringing it out there I don't expect to see this done soon but people like me with OCD would just make me happy.

19.) Make Moderator / Speaker to the left click. It would be nice if Super Admins and Admins and Room Owners had the ability to make someone a moderator right then and there and if the person a moderator or speaker you can have it say like Take Away Moderator or Take Away Speaker. Again there is so much going in the admin panel and less doing on client side. It makes sense.

20.) Hide Rooms - I know we could close a room but it would be nice to be able to Hide a room from the rooms list and that would only be accessible via website URL, which of course can be generated in admin panel.

21.) Improved Hands Free Capability - It would be nice if this can be possible to improve the quality over hands free due to having hands free enabled can cause a lot of echo, etc. So it would be nice to improve that area.
