Did you check the standalone option?
If you didn't, the flashplayer has to be installed on the users computer for your program to work.

Yes, the reason might be just like what meester has said. Could you please tell us more details about the situation that your exe file does not work? Does it show any message?

Recently I to am having problems running on certain computers (now even my build computer).

Even the Build Preview is coming up with this error: "Failed to load the Macromedia Flash Player"! I am running Version 2.2 r2

The standalone box is checked and I can open an swf file on my desktop no problem. has a DLL become corrupted or something??? This was working fine.

The Flash player ActiveX control is not installed. The standalone Flash player comes with Macromedia Flash can open desktop swf files, whereas swfkit requires the ActiveX player.

This was indeed the case. Worked with Macromedia support found that their install does not always successfully register the OCX. Manually registering it from the Run after installing got it working properly.

Regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\Macromed\Flash\Flash9.ocx

Note: user may have something other than Flash9.ocx (such as Flash8.ocx) as it is version dependant.

If the above fails, it is most likely because you don't have permission to
write to the directory or the registry outlined in this technote: http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowled...fm?id=tn_19148
