We have a flash file (.swf) that we need converted to an executable and it appears that your product is a great fit.
Q1: Once compiled into an application, does the end-user need a flash player installed (from macromedia?) to view the flash? (Similar to the way it would normally be viewed from a web page.) Q2: We would like to distribute the flash movie on demo disks but do not want the end-user to have to download any components from the web. What are the system requirements for the end-user to view the compiled application? Thanks in advance. |

1. You can do both (ie. the PC needs Flash, or compile a Flash player into the exe). Obviously the later will make your final .exe bigger.
2. I currently do this with SWFKit apps and have not problems. 3. Someone from SWFKit will need to answer what the offical System Requirements. But I can say that I have susessfully tested on 98/Me, NT4, 2000, XP (but not that not all the commands [particularly 'special folders'] do not work on 98/Me, but there are workarounds). |
