Default use SWFkit to make GUI's for C++ apps??

Hi. i am just starting to try out SWFkit and i have a question...

would it be possible to create a GUI in flash, then when a 'button' is pressed, a string or value could be passed to some software programmed in C++, that was waiting to recieve these messages to perform certain operations?

what would be the method of passing this data? could it be done through some sort of ActiveX control?

or is this completely impossible??

any help?

thanks!

It can be done by socket connection. Please see the Socket Object in the SWFKit help.
