You're the greatest..

I've been playing about with the kit.. I'm doing a final examn as Multimedia Designer..

I've had some problems with the activeX object fx. I can't retrieve the title of a piece of music or any other id3 information for that matter.. I read something about the activeX object having some problems, is this also just some of the same problems?

I've also tried to play around with the database object.. Nice.. I tried to do some MySQL with it, only problem is that I guess the user have to have the MySQL driver installed or do anyone have a workaround for this?

Default Re: [quote]activeX object

There are some bugs in the ActiveXObject. The FFish script maintains a hash table to keep the type information of the methods and properties of the ActiveX object. Unfortunately, it only retrieves portion of the type information so sometimes you may get an error message just like "Warning: unknown method".

We have corrected the bugs. We will upload the new version in one or two days. We have also made a little change to the GUI of SWFKit. The superfluous portion was removed.

SWFKit connects database via ADO. If you want to use MySQL at client side, you at least need the ADO driver for MySQL. The MySQL service may also be necessary. We recommend using Access(*.mdb) or DBase(*.dbf), they are default installation of most of the Windows system. We will try to make a demo about using MySQL in recent days.

Thanks for your post.
