Hi,
In the options panel one can select which version to embed. But when I embed player 7 and play the compiled exe it seams to work with player version 8 (v8 is already present on my system). Swfkit seams to take the system player if it's newer then the embedded one. Because my project has functions that only work with version 7, I really want it to play with flash player 7 and not 8. Is this possible? thns! Gert |

I did test again and the same error occurs.
I made a simple project that shows the version using System.capabilities.version. It does not matter whether the swf is packed or not. I made a test swf in Flash 8, but compiled as Flash 6. Then, in swfKit View > Options : I choose to build with "Macromedia Flash Player 6.0 r79" When I build and run the exe: I see "WIN 8,0,22,0" when I display the System.capabilities.version value to a text field. If you want I can mail you my test project. Thanks a lot, Gert Stalpaert |

Very sorry, we only test it in swfkit pro, however, it doesn't work in swfkit and swfkit express. Please tell us which edition you're now using, we will send you the patch.

I must say that swfkit support really helps their users and that's not common behavior at other tool developers. It's one of the reasons why our company keeps on using swfKit and not one of its competitors. May be one point for improvement: why not put the list with patched bugs online?
