Resizing window

I have one SWF, and a SWFKIT project. In the SWF I have some actionscript..

var wnd = Window.getMainWnd();
wnd.width = 600;

I've also tried...

Application.SizeAndPos.setCustomSize(800, 200);

However when I preview in SWFKIT, no resize takes place. How do I make this work?
