standalone problem

I'm creating an exe using swfkit pro 3.0 and am having serious problems in opening the exe on machines without flash installed. I have read numerous articles stating that it really should be quite simple to do, "check the standalone box" which has been done and swfkit should then as I understand it pack the flash player in with the other items in the exe. The exe works fine on all machines with flash already installed but it is necessary for me to have it working on none flash installed players too. The error I am getting is:

Unable to load Adobe Flash Player!

Your help would be greatly appreciated as I have tried unsuccessfully for some time now to solve this problem.
