Hi,
I'm using (evaluating) PlasmaplugsTableRenderer from http://www.plasmaplugs.com and I included the HTML file that will be read by the renderer as one of the external files to be encrypted by Swfkit. When I ran my application, the HTML was not successfully read by PlasmaplugsTableRenderer. I tried building the exe again but this time without encrypting the HTML and it was successfully read by the renderer. PlasmaplugsTableRenderer is a 3rd party Flash component. My question is, how is Swfkit's support for 3rd party components? Do we have to register any 3rd party Flash components to Swfkit (somehow) in order for it to benefit from transparent encryption/decryption? Thanks Eric |

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. What version of PlasmaplugsTableRenderer are you using? I already used getAdditionalFile() in my script. This is the only part of my application that doesn't render, everything else works. I downloaded the sample application (sample2.swf) from their website and tried it with SwfKit. First, I did not tick all the resources (and did not tick Pack Resources either) so that they will not be encrypted during build. Everything works. Then I ticked all resources and all I get is a blank screen for the HTML. Buttons that are not part of the HTML rendered correctly. Then I unticked just the HTML text file (sourceFile for the renderer) and rebuilt. And it works. Are you sure you encrypted the HTML file in your case? Thanks Eric |
