Default Selection.setFocus for FLASH APPEARS DISABLED

In my Flash movie I Have the following code:

Selection.setFocus("escanNUM");

This happens on the first frame of my movie so that the cursor is ready on an input box when the movie loads.

It works when the movie is ran by itself, but when I run it with SWF it doesn't.

Any Suggestions?

Jeremy Hayden

I needed to modify this....
It appears that when a movie is run from SWF that the movie doesnt have focus untill you click on it. Almost like it isnt in the foreground....?

This appears to be a duplicate question.

See the first part of "window.modifyStyle documentation"

about 2 posts below here.

Thanks.

It's really a bug. The same bug like this is the Shell.runAndWait method. When the method returns, the projector lost focus.

It has already been fixed in our new version that is still under testing.
