Default Performance of mx-Transitions

Hi,

we now use SWFKit Express in our company to produce CD-Content with Flash.
First of all, its a very handy and nice product, but what I noticed is a lack of performance
when I use the mx.transitions-Class inside Flash, i.e. for blending in movies, that are loaded into a content_mc
inside the Main Movie. In the original Flashplayer all runs smooth, even with 25fps set in the movie properties.
But in SWFKit Projector its no smooth blending but you can see every frame of the transition nearly by eye.
We use Flash 8 Professional and SWFKit 3.1 - any help on this ?

Regards,
Frank

Is your program transparent? SWFKit will not affect the performance of your swf movie unless it is transparent.

Hi,

yes it is transparent as i wanted a non-windows-style window. Is there any way to optimize this ?

You may use clip regions to create custom shaped window. If you use the "transparent" option, it is very hard to increase the performance, unless we can ask adobe to add a new method into the flash player :'(

Well,
i cannot use clip regions since i wanted a drop shadow which produces a feathered outline - from shadow corner into transparency...
