Default Re: Creating zip files by using SWFKit Pro

Thank you for your reply. Today I finally could make LiteZip work finally. Now my application does exactly what I want: compressing files into one zip and uploading the zip to server via ftp.
SWFKit is really good, after comparing it with the similar programs.

Hello SwfKit Coders,

My 1. Question: LifwZip supports Flex 3.2 and SwfKit 3.4?

My 2. Question: Can swfkit-zip-application to compress to small one file?
Example: unzipped file: like this Setup has 400 MB to zipped file ca. 40 KB or more than KB?

My 3. Question: Can swfkit-zip-application create to sfx-executable file like WinRar, WinZip with Self-Installer?
Some did we use with trick by VBasic-script? ( without visual studio basic only create file by Notepad. Or Neko Script ). How do i know while vbscript or neko-script can create automacal with compressed file to exe files?

Thank you for replying...

Regards, SnakeMedia

1. If you mean LiteZip, then yes.
2. No, that's almost impossible:-)
3. Yes, that's what swfkit is doing: it compresses the resource files when building, and decompresses them when launching.

Hi @SwfKit Admin,

okay no that is a bad idea by me. Sorry!

I think sure because we need call function with Javascript or Java Runtime because Javascript or Java Runtime has I/O FileSystem function and can to make into compressing modes by Javascript or Java Runtime. But We do not need dll files? If you installed Java Runtime after...

Is it posible with Javascript call function.
Or we need call to callfunction or calllater? because AS3 works same not..... Like this MDM Zinc has sloved by CallLater or callFunction. Eventts should to call with swfkit applications. If you retried with sloved problems of no-save or no-write by I/O-FileSystem or FileStream and File Functions

Thanks and regards SnakeMedia

Ah - sorry - I wasn't quite clear enough with this request.

It looks like this addition automatically saves files to the C: drive of the user's computer when then .zip file is created.

Instead, is it possible to have some files stored in the resources section of SWFKit and a new file generated which are then all packaged up as a .zip and saved in the location the user chooses. This is what I need!
