I'm trying to use the ASP sampler and getting a create object error. I've installed the latest replacer.exe and swfkit.exe, but don't know where to start. Thanks for any help!!!

Hi, I am very sorry to tell you that the replacer object can only work with swfkit pro 2. Executable files created by swfkit 3 are different than those created by swfkit 2, and the resource files packed in these exe files can be encrypted, and thus they cannot be modified.

Thanks for replying. So is swfkit pro 2 still available? Basically I want to be able to convert my swf's to exe on the fly from a web browser. The idea was to have it viewed on their desktop without having to open a browser. Would swfkitonline be able to do this? If so, what would I need. I'm still a noob at this but thanks for your help and/or advice...

I finally fixed the issue I was having. Apparently my machine didn't have the right permission set for it to create the objects, not just objects supplied for the swf kit online but also the Scripting.FileSystemObject. Anywho, I had to go into my registry editor (make sure you do a back up first folks) and do a search for Replacer.replace at the registry key (folder) and not the data and set the permissions to everyone including me in several places. Also had to do the same thing for Scripting.FileSystemObject. Before doing any of this the Replacer.dll had to be registered, but even after that it wouldn't work, which lead me to the permissions issue. Hopefully someone can benefit from this. Now to do some real work... ;D
