Default Getting WMI data

I'm trying to get some data from windows WMI to use in my flash widget, namely the upload speed and download speed of the internet connection.

I'm thinking of getting it from Win32_PerfFormattedData_Tcpip_NetworkInterface Class or something, but my ffish skills suck at the moment..

Can anyone help me with some code?

PS: Does accessing the WMI all the time decrease system performance much? How often can my script query it so I don't run into other issues?

About using WMI, you can read the following post

However, I'm not sure which object in wmi is suitable for you.
