Hello topcmm,
Thank you for offering to help. I do not have experience with activex but I will learn if you can make a tftp example. I am using Flash/Swfkit to control small embedded systems and use tftp to load new firmware into the embedded processor. This is what I want to do. Any help appreciated. browse to a file on disk or cdrom. set the port number, timeout and max retransmit set ip number of the server (in case the PC has two network interfaces). get status that the client has connected and when the transfer is complete. transfer progress bar. I am not sure if there are security issues that I need to add, have not gotten that far yet. Thank you, Bob |

Hi,
I get it. You want to implement a TFTP client. We once made a FTP client ActiveX object for one of our users. A TFTP client object is simpler than a FTP object, we will implement it after the release of SWFKit 2. |

Hi topcmm,
The embedded system is the client so I want the swfkit side to be a TFTP server. I looked at the ftp example, but it is a client and I do not know how to make the changes needed to make it a server. regards, bob |
