hi all,
I have a little problem and can't find the issue: My app uses jpg images stored in a directory... I add the images as additionnal files in the project, but the installer builded does not install these images in the installation directory... Is it possible to do that? Adding folders and files during installation??? thanks by advance, Piotr. |

I think you have to uncheck the "pack additional files" option.
When you pack the additional files, the jpgs are nested in the exe-file and they will be unpacked when you run the projector. If you don't pack the additional files, they will be copied to the installation directory. You'll have to uncheck the "pack movies" option as well. That way, the projector will have no trouble finding the jpgs if you want to load them. It 's the easiest way. (Otherwise the projector tries to load them from the folder in wich it is unpacked) Sorry for me bad english |

well...
I tried that (uncheck "pack additionnal files"), it seems that it works, but when compiling, he is compressing, and when he seems to have finished, a msgbox appears, telling: "le chemin d'accès spécifié est introuvable" (in english: the filepath cannot be found)... I don't know why: all the additionnal files are on the disk... anyone knows why??? |

just to complete:
when this error occurs, swfkit make a fatal error and stops... I looked in the Temp folder, and the setup.exe is in it, and works well... so, I can build the installer, but the result is not in the output directory, and builing makes swfkit stop... I think this is a bug, but I'm not sure |
