Default Microsoft Speech SDK5.1

Does anyone have a clue on how to integrate speech recognition with flash and SWFkit.

Speech SDK comes with some ActiveX and OLE's

I've also downloaded the VoiceTools-ActiveX, but I cant get them to run.
I've heard about SpeechStudio (http://www.speechstudio.com/suite.htm)
but there are no tutorials?

Maybe there are other ActiveX or ways??

Sorry - I missed the "recognition" bit.

I've not really tried the recognition side, and even the speech I'd previously done with VBasic and some in html/Javascript. Looking forward to trying with SWFKit. Shouldn't be to much different.

There's a good little VBasic demo at <http://www.freevbcode.com/ShowCode.Asp?ID=5285>

Hey RJS,

Thanks, I'll check it out!
(Although I haven't VB installed)

Do you by any chance know how to let the agent speak without the speech bubble beeing visible.
I want to make an exercices where wordt are dictated through the agent.

When I've just wanted "sane" speech output without the wizards and parrots, I've set the Agent x y parameters to off screen locations eg
-screenHeight & -screenWidth, but I can't recall any way to just have the agent present and speaking without the balloon.

Cheers
Rob
