LocalConnection issue

hi,
i have 2 swfs both compiled with different skp's.
short story one displays a list from a file then opens the other one.the second one modifies the list and with help of the flash LocalConnection sends a string to the first one in order for the list to get refreshed. The sending of the string works when the two swfs aren't compiled with swfkit, but when they are compiled no message is recived.
so my question is if am i doing something wrong or swfkit doesn't work with flash LocalConnection object? and what do you suggest to use instead of LocalConnection?

Edit:

Nevermind had to make a little delay..cause the second application was exiting to fast for the local connection to work. so i put the exit function on onStatus and it worked.
